The biggest event in Australia is here, the Sydney Salsa Congress!
Did you say salsa? Don’t despair, fellow Bachateros, there will be Bachata at the event for sure. Bachateros Australia will be supporting and attending this prestigious event.
- Juan and Samantha will be teaching 2 Bachata workshops (Moderna Style), one on Friday, and one on Sunday. (check the SSC timetable for times and locations)
- The Latin Motion Bachateros Student team will be performing their famous Orange Bachata routine on friday night!
- Juan and Samantha will be doing a Bachata Moderna demo on Saturday at noon.
- We will have a Bachateros Booth at the Congress, so make sure you stop, take a photo and get one of the brand new t-shirts “I speak Bachata” Read more

Bachateros keeps growing and expanding and is now proud to bring in some awesome Latin Hip Hop flavour, in addition to its cheeky and fun Bachata Moderna! Yes, Bachateros is offering you the chance to take part in 2 different choreographies for the Sydney International Bachata Festival:
- Bachata Moderna – with Juan Ruiz and Samantha Cilia
- Latin Hip Hop – with Josie Cote
Learn from some of Sydney’s most exciting instructors, as Juan and Samantha have pioneered the Bachata Moderna style and are well known for their fun Bachata choreographies. Josie is the current Australian Salsa Champion, and uses her versatile dance training to create funky and entertaining Latin Hip Hop choreographies, by mixing her Latin flavour with her Hip Hop expertise.
